Data Scientist Jobs

Akkodis is looking for a Data Scientist for a Long Term Contract, 100% remote role. Ideally looking for candidates in the Washington, DC area as this individual may have to be on-site in the future.

MUST be able to obtain a Public Trust prior to starting.

Only available for US Citizens/GC Holders.

Hourly Rate: $60-$65/hr W2

Bachelor’s Degree in mathematical, Statistical Computing, or technical field

• 4-6 years of experience with the following:

o Experience interacting with AI/ML

o Specializing in data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and natural language processing using industry-standard tools such as Python

o Preferably performed statistical analysis to identify correlation with financial data.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Polished oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose, tailor, and deliver original presentations and papers on abstract concepts.

• Develops and employs strategies to analyze key issues, draw conclusions from data, and recommend viable solutions to address customer mission needs.

• Experience with AWS or similar cloud provider.

• Experienced in applying statistical and data visualization skills.

• Strong problem solving skills to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
