Responsibilities


The Enterprise Risk - Analytics and Modeling - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities


  • Translate data outputs to customers, business partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze and monitor predictive data models and machine learning tools to help fuel Fannie Mae's innovation and impact.
  • Review analytic activities and develop testing and modeling techniques.
  • Provide recommendations to the business for analytic support, testing activities, and quantitative analysis.


Qualifications


THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM


Minimum Required Experiences


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 6 years
  • Proficient in statistical programming and data processing languages including Python, R and SQL.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand using graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or other BI tools.
  • Experience in writing model development and model testing documents. Being able to rigorously articulate the theoretical construct and empirical results of modeling and analytical results.
  • Experience in applying advanced econometric and statistical techniques to time series, panel data, discrete event modeling, mortgage performance modeling, property and financial asset valuation, and other quantitative problems in mortgage finance.
  • Extensive experience in statistical modeling and data analytics
  • Experience with Internal Capital modeling and analytics, as well as Regulatory Capital management.

  • Experience in analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data. Skilled in discovering patterns in large data sets, and conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.


Desired Experiences


  • Experience with developing and deploying machine learning models using AWS Sagemaker.
  • At least 5 years’ experience with modeling and analytics functions.
  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or similar Quantitative Subjects.
  • Experience with climate risk quantitative analysis.
