Job Description

Senior Quality Engineer - Data Platforms⚡

Series A HealthTech Startup

$120,000-$165,000 base

Storm3 has partnered with a Seattle-based Series A HealthTech start-up, specializing in providing financial aid support for patients across the country. They are looking to grow their engineering team and take their AI platform to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in testing and quality assurance, with a focus on data platforms.
  • Design and implement automation tests that can efficiently and effectively validate large datasets.
  • Lead and mentor other members of the Quality Engineering team, including providing guidance on best practices and technical skills development.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain testing strategies, frameworks, and processes for our data platforms and related products.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data analysts to identify and prioritize test cases, ensuring that critical functionality is tested thoroughly.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of data platforms and related products.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on product quality metrics, such as defect rates and customer satisfaction, to identify areas for improvement and optimize testing processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Comfortable working with containerization tools
  • Proven track record leading and mentoring teams
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • A major plus for experience working in an ePHI environment
  • Fluency in Python
  • Familiarity with domain-driven design concepts
