Senior Python Developer Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer with expertise in Service Now ITOM (IT Operations Management) and ITSM (IT Service Management) for our one of prestigious USA Clients. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust Python-based applications and integrations, with a focus on Service Now ITOM and ITSM modules. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable solutions that enhance IT operations and service management capabilities.

What you need / Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

· Extensive experience in Python development, including solid knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django or Flask

· Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Service Now ITOM and ITSM modules, including configuration, customization, and integration

·Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs

·Experience with database systems like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL

·Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git

·Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

·Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

·Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus

What you'll do:

· Develop and maintain Python-based applications and integrations, leveraging best practices and coding standards

·Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

·Design, develop, and implement solutions using Service Now ITOM and ITSM modules to enhance IT operations and service management capabilities

. Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user guides, and release notes.

·Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards

·Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications and integrations, working closely with the support team

·Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in the Service Now platform and Python development to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, business analysts, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery

·Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
