Purple, Rock, Scissors has an exciting full time opportunity for 2+ .NET Software Engineers to support a global payment technology client of ours. With a focus on financial inclusion and empowerment, our Atlanta-based client embraces a mission to create products that help people and businesses send money securely across the globe. Coupling technological innovation with strategic partnerships, our client offers technology for businesses and individuals to expand their own portfolio into cross-border payments (including bank transfers, mobile wallets, or cash). They provide unmatched fraud and transaction monitoring backed by an in-house team of global payments experts. A new product initiative requires the full-time support of .NET Software Engineers as well as a Product Manager.
The ideal Senior .NET Software Engineer will play a key role in building new products and then be ready to dive deep into software solutions. We are looking for someone who can see where we are going, ask the right questions to uncover any potential technical roadblocks along the path, then lead the team to achieve optimal results. You must be comfortable quickly making decisions about which technical solutions show the most promise then working iteratively with the team to bring them to life. Reports to: Client Side Manager/Director
Responsibilities
- Jump in on other tasks or projects, as needed.
- Participate in planning to iterate and continuously improve the product.
- Conduct research on new and emerging technologies for both web and mobile technology stacks, allowing teams to develop and scale digital products quickly and effectively.
- Provide clear and valuable documentation, including user stories, business and workflow analysis, and architecture diagrams to support the team and communicate the vision effectively.
- Design, code, test and manage applications.
- Exhibit discipline towards agile processes, always thinking holistically about the end goal.
- Use your test-driven engineering skills to speed solutions to completion.
- Build scalable, exceptionally reliable product features.
- Follow standards of quality related to code and systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology leaders to estimate and plan phased delivery of software solutions to manage and prioritize the team’s engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience developing applications in C# or .NET.
- Understanding of Agile processes.
- Natural ability and desire to take ownership of your work.
- Broad understanding and experience in different technology stacks, specifically .NET, .NET Core, and/or ASP.NET, and deploying those solutions to Azure.
- 3+ years of software development experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with the integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with and understanding of deliverables and value propositions and delivering business-centric, integrated technology solutions.
- Knowledge of best practices for development standards.
- Ability to rapidly comprehend the long-term and short-term implications of individual decisions and their impact on the project.
- Experience working with MS SQL Server.
- Exposure to multiple diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.

- Experience collaborating with offshore (South America) development resources.
- FinTech or banking client experience.
- Agency experience, startup experience, or any new venture group focused on developing digital products.
- New product development experience.
- Kubernetes experience
