The Bridge Specialty Group IT Team is seeking a .NET Developer to join our team.
This is a remote from home opportunity.
As a member of Bridge Specialty IT Team, you will provide internal support for technology used by the organization to enhance technology services for our internal users. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring that application business needs and performance requirements are met. The role requires technical skills across a breadth of technologies. Interaction with both user communities and the technical community is required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Build applications with a responsive design.
  • Work within a DevOps environment.
  • Understand and quickly grasp P&C insurance business logic.
  • Build front-end applications through appealing visual design.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain software.
  • Work with other developers, project managers, business analysts, architects, & database administrators.
  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.
COMPETENCIES:
  • An analytical mind
  • Familiarity with SQL Server database
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience building Microsoft cloud & client applications.
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of front-end languages: HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, & Razor
  • Familiar with common stacks
  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role
  • Knowledge of back-end languages: C#, .NET Framework, MVC, APIM, SQL, Logic App, & Azure Functions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Three or more years of experience as a .NET Developer
  • Experience in Agile software development methodology
  • Proficiency in DevOps, GIT, Visual Studio, Front-end languages, and/or other development tools
  • Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
  • Ability to participate in daily meetings and work remotely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
PREFERRED
  • Microsoft development certifications
  • A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Experience in P&C Insurance industry
