Job Description
OVERVIEW:


The Senior Merchandise Planner role exists to support the North American Merchandise Planning Manager and Associate Merchandise Planner in the growth of the Women’s business. A key focus of the role includes identifying opportunities to continue expanding Gymshark's reach in the North American market.


Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


Responsible for:


  • Leading and executing the monthly reforecast process
  • Developing and analyzing business reporting tools and processes resulting in actionable insights
  • Defining recommendations of promotional pricing, receipt flow and key item forecasts
  • Management of Associate Planner and/or Merchandise Planner
  • Acting as point person for Women’s Planning Team working cross-functionally with Merchandising partners to analyze performance on weekly/monthly/seasonal basis to grow Women’s business
  • Supporting Merchandising team ahead of seasonal buys with option count analysis, ladder plans and receipt targets, balancing sales, margin and inventory targets for division/category
  • Administration and management of the commercial calendar
  • Generation and execution of preseason sales, margin and inventory targets for a division and/or categories within a division
  • Delivery of state of business share-out to senior leadership
  • Execution and delivery of territory, division and category level hindsight reports
  • Building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with relevant stakeholders


Accountable for:


  • Data reporting and analysis on a weekly basis
  • Analyzing and improving inventory position
  • Working closely with Merchandising partners to strategize and grow Women’s division
  • Weekly and monthly business reporting of reforecast
  • Supporting development of wider team including Associate Planners and/or Merchandise Planners
  • Achieving tops down budget and financial metrics via monthly reforecast and pre-season budget processes


WHAT YOU'LL NEED:


  • Experience building tools in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a merchandise planning role
  • Customer first mindset
  • Experience reforecasting multiple categories at a monthly level to deliver strategic initiatives and understand openness to buy
  • Experience working with various cross-functional teams with a collaborative mindset
  • Experience leading open-to-buy meetings and acting as key liaison with Merchandising partners
  • Experience forecasting core inventory to understand receipt flow

This role has a salary range between $92,000-$111,000 annually depending on experience.
