LinkedIn is searching for a Senior Manager, Governance, Risk & Compliance to join our Strategic Sourcing Team! We’re looking for an astute, collaborative professional with experience in regulatory global compliance requirement execution, risk management, identification of gaps within policies, processes & procedures and/or auditing who has sound judgement, a natural ability to get stuff done quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will drive forward our Sourcing and Supplier Compliance Monitoring, ensuring that LinkedIn employees and suppliers are adhering to our policies, processes, guidelines, laws, regulatory obligations, mitigating supplier risk and more. You will help to establish programs, processes, develop successful change management plans and perform audits to continually measure and analyze progress towards compliance priorities. People leadership is a key part of this role with a high performing team, facilitating discussions with varying levels of the Leadership Team and embracing difficult conversations with ease! This role will partner closely with Strategic Sourcing team members, business partners & cross functional teams within our global Privacy, Security, Legal, Compliance and Procurement teams as well as other functional leadership and our supplier community, as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively build good working relationships with cross functional teams such as Privacy, Legal, Procurement, Information Security, etc
  • Assist in defining and implementing scalable policies, templates, processes, tools and workflows to manage compliance, increase operational value and efficiency
  • Develop and disseminate required communication materials to ensure key business stakeholders understand our Supplier Compliance Framework
  • Lead a high performing global team with clearly defined goals & objectives
  • Lead change management projects & participate in efforts to streamline our end-to-end Source2Pay processes
  • Drive forward our Supplier Risk Framework and strategy with cross functional teams
  • Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews and ongoing conversations with governance, risk, and compliance teams to include Global Compliance, Information Security, Microsoft Compliance & Supply Chain Integrity
  • Execute ad-hoc projects related to Strategic Sourcing governance and transformation activities
  • Embed a superior customer service attitude within the team and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders seamlessly
  • Manage multiple tasks, projects and timelines with a sense of urgency, ownership and within deadline
  • Identify new tools, automation and ways to streamline processes, as needed
  • Provide general PM support on supplier related program and process improvements
  • Further enhance our Sourcing and Supplier Governance, Risk, and Compliance Program in collaboration with cross functional business partners
  • Perform & evaluate both internal operational and supplier audits
  • Comprehensive reporting and communication on adoption and compliance of programs
  • Rapidly identify, analyze and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication to influence outcomes with cross functional teams
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 6+ years’ experience in supplier risk management, data privacy, compliance and/or audits
  • Experience with the source-to-pay process & supplier relationship management
  • Experience with reporting & data analysis (i.e. Excel, Pivot Tables)
  • 5+ years of program management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Personable and credible – ability to build productive working relationships both internally with our business partners and externally with our suppliers across teams globally
  • Progressive yet practical approach to strategic sourcing focused on unlocking value and improving service
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, problem solve and make decisions in complex situations
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
  • Communicates in a clear, concise and timely manner and operates effectively as a team player
  • Resourceful with a strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile to get work done
  • Understanding of global privacy-focused regulations (i.e., GDPR, CCPA, etc), data processing requirements & terminology
  • Collaborative expertise in process & continuous improvement expert
  • Change Management Certification (i.e., Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP)
  • Ability to take ownership, self-motivate and deliver results in ambiguous environments

The pay range for this role is $128,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
