Global Security Intelligence (GSI) supports process and control improvements and internal policy compliance by analyzing and proactively monitoring diverse information across the enterprise, providing accountability, transparency, and measurability.
The Senior Manager of Global Security Intelligence (GSI) is accountable for the identification, development, implementation, management, and execution of the organization’s global security/risk and intelligence strategies. The successful candidate will leverage security intelligence to improve processes and controls that prevent the predictable while preparing for the unexpected.
Key Accountabilities
  • Manages staff and directs contracted resources in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes, practices, and policies throughout the organization to reduce risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal, and reputational risk.
  • Monitor OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), SOCMINT (Social Media Intelligence), and internal intelligence resources for known and potential threats to employee safety, company security, business operations, or reputation risks.
  • Research, develop, and deliver education and awareness information on security-related concerns to executives, employees, and other designated individuals.
  • Deploys security management techniques to safeguard the organization’s personnel and assets. Establishes appropriate standards and associated security controls to embed in business processes.
  • Contributes to advancing the organization's global security intelligence program, focusing on actionable data to proactively protect the company, employees, and assets.
  • Ensures the organization’s compliance with the local, national, and international regulatory environments where applicable to the accountability of this role (i.e., privacy, data protection, and environmental health and safety).
  • Coordinates activities to protect executives, managers, employees, customers, stakeholders, visitors, etc., while traveling in high-risk regions.
  • In cooperation with the director of GSI and other vital stakeholders, participates and executes in developing an effective strategy to assess and mitigate foreign and domestic risk, manage crises and incidents, and safeguard the organization.
  • Develop relationships with high-level law enforcement officials and international counterparts, including international security agencies, intelligence, and other relevant governmental functions and private sector counterparts worldwide.

  • Leadership skills and executive presence to provide direction to the management and professional staff within the organization.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization on security status and issues supporting enterprise risk management decisions.
  • Ability to interact under adversarial conditions while interpreting, analyzing, and developing consensus within an organizational climate of diverse operational activities and often-conflicting regulations imposed by agencies with regulatory jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated commitment to lead personnel in education and training advancement.
  • High-level analytical skills, leadership experience, and exceptional relationship management competencies to understand the impact and sensitivity of security issues.
Qualification Guidelines
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in a management role within a corporate security organization of comparable size and scope.
  • Proven government or private sector International Intelligence experience in identifying security threats by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating strategic and tactical intelligence data points.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a US Department of Education-recognized college or university. An advanced degree or equivalent in an area of study relevant to this role is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience and exposure in the international security arena dealing with security/risk-related issues based on the scope and reach of the organization.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant experience, including combined experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public service, and/or private sector corporate security organization.
  • Extensive International Brand Protection experience including but not limited to Supply Chain Security Management, Prototype Protection, Anti-Counterfeiting, Grey Marketing, Sales & Discount Fraud & Prevention, and Services Compliance Programs.

  • Problem-Solving: Be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Influence: Demonstrated experience in influencing all levels of management and stakeholders in a global setting
  • Project/Program Management: Excellent social and project management skills to lead and handle the timely implementation of projects. Examples include projects related to the launch of new processes or new systems to run investigative records.
  • Leadership: Excellent skills in managing security teams with direct authority to help work towards the timely handling of investigations. Leadership in demonstrating behavior consistent with Bose’s Essence and Values and ensuring the handling of investigations reflects the highest ethical standards.
  • Decision-making: A track record of exercising decision-making regarding implementing global security technical processes and employee development handled by direct reports, including decisions to modify processes, select new tools, and rebalance resources based on workload and expertise.
