Job Description
We are looking for a strategic mind with exceptional management skills who can help direct client accounts through our audience channel service specialties as part of the audience strategy team. Our team is growing rapidly and needs a seasoned strategist who wants to take ownership of key client relationships. This position is perfect for someone who is skilled at relationship building, is focused on delivering against objectives and wants to nurture and build junior talent. While supporting both B2C and B2B, this role would primarily focus on complex B2B clients in the tech and energy industries.


The audience strategy team focuses on the connection between the client and their audience, offering media planning/buying/implementation, paid search, search engine optimization and social media services. Success in this role and on this team will be determined by your ability to understand different client businesses, objectives, and audiences; guide and counsel the client on strategic and tactical decisions and ensure support teams are delivering against client expectations. A candidate who is intelligent, personable, resourceful, and anticipatory who brings a natural curiosity and maturity to daily work is ideal.


This position is hybrid but based in the Dallas office.


The Senior Manager, Client Management performs a combination of duties related to leveraging Mod Op’s audience strategy expertise and offerings to positively impact our clients’ business objectives. The Senior Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership of their assigned audience strategy accounts, for setting goals, measuring the effectiveness of all programs, and ensuring his/her campaign manager and ad ops teams are executing against the outlined strategies. They are expected to develop senior-level, long-term relationships with clients while furthering Agency goals.


As Senior Manager in our Dallas office, you will:


  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Develop deep understanding of client's needs, priorities, and objectives as well as an understanding of clients’ business, markets, and customers to provide more valuable counsel.
  • Responsible for seeing through the timely implementation of projects.
  • Proactively identify and implement business-building ideas.
  • Manage and/or mentor junior level talent.
  • Develop and oversee the planning, strategic development, and execution for assigned accounts related to audience strategy services.
  • Serve as the primary relationship point of contact for assigned clients with responsibility for client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Oversee strategic plans, including budgets, compensation models, billing set-up and timelines.
  • Perpetuate agency vision and culture with all team members.


Requirements


  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Proven senior level experience in agency account management or in-house marketing managing stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 6 years of related work experience
  • B2B experience a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, business, or another related field
  • Proven ability to build relationships.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Experience in creating, controlling, and maintaining budgets.
  • Experience in paid digital channels.
