QinetiQ Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Logistics Analyst to support the design, development, and manufacture of aerial target payload systems at our Huntsville, AL customer site. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Your Contribution To The Mission:

• Procure launch equipment, ground support equipment, spare parts, test equipment, special tools and other necessary equipment required to operate and maintain the target systems
• Provide transport of equipment in the Fort Bliss, TX, and White Sands Missile Range, NM, area of operations including Holloman Air Force Base, NM.
• Establish commercial shipping accounts to support the acquisition and delivery of equipment.
• Support the acquisition and delivery of non-commercial hardware and software materials, such as spare and repair parts for aerial targets, aerial target subsystems, and other related equipment including mechanical, electrical, and contour surface parts.
• Provide logistical support and assist in the program management of aerial target programs.
• Acquire materials from source directed vendors to replace equipment in kind with equipment currently being used by the Government to preclude multiple system or subsystem configurations, additional logistic burden and increased sustainment costs.
• Provide logistical support for aerial target system, sub-system and spare parts sustainment activities including receipt, storage, inventory management, information assurance and data base management and sustainment, property accountability, requirements determination, requisitioning, issuing, packaging and shipment of various aerial target hardware.
• The acquisition of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software and hardware that may serve as stand-alone devices or be integrated into aerial target systems or subsystems.

To Land This Job, You Need:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in the procurement and delivery of commercial, non-commercial, hardware and software materials to support the development of government systems.
• Experience acquiring both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software and hardware components.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing experience, the ability to convey technical designs, ideas and results to non-technical audiences and to provide briefings to high-level government personnel.
• Experienced using government supported procurement and shipping systems for the acquisition and delivery of government technology systems.
• BS degree in Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, or other related Engineering discipline preferred.
