Senior Learning & Organizational Development Specialist


About the Position:


This position drives employee performance and agency results through need assessments, data analysis, design, development, and implementation of learning solutions and strategic support for ODMHSAS employees at all levels.


Responsibilities include:


  • Facilitating training, coaching, and strategic support
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to verify training needs, design courses, and provide supporting resources
  • Translating those solutions into compelling learning experiences (facilitator-led and eLearning)
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions
  • Modeling ODMHSAS' values
  • Developing interactive eLearning courses using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Understanding the agency's needs through data analysis and needs assessments
  • Designing practical learning solutions
  • Managing multiple programs and projects


Job Type/Salary:


Annual Salary is $61,350.00


Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Multimedia Design or related field and two years of human resource, training, education or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Preference may be given to those with one or more of the following:


  • Knowledge and experience of Adobe products specifically audio recording/editing and video editing programs
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline 3
  • Familiarity with SCORM/Tin Can API
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance laws
  • Experience in the development of online/distance learning instruction
  • Graphic design experience


Special Requirements:


  • Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position.
