Life Sciences Center
This position assists with maintenance and repair of various types of scientific equipment located in the Bond Life Sciences Center. Duties may include assistance with equipment controls, refrigeration repairs, micro-circuitry diagnostics, machining, carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical and general manual labor. Functional contacts may include university administrators, professors, laboratory-staff, graduate students, undergraduates, and other employees performing related duties.
Successful candidates will be persuasive communicators with exceptional organizational and time management skills. They must demonstrate the following durable skills: leadership, character, collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, metacognition, mindfulness, growth mindset, and fortitude. Additionally, customer service, confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to the University’s vales.
Must be available for reliable and consistent onsite work.
Salary
$17.96 - $33.00/hour
Grade: GGS 8
University Title: Senior Engineering Technician

Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
