Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician Jobs

Oversees and manages daily operations of large capital projects.

Manages engineering technician leads on large projects for inspection coverage;

Manages snow removal on a residential snow route during winter months.

Inspects construction on several Capital projects, ensuring construction work is completed according to City standards and specifications.

Ensures warrant inspections are performed before expiration/

Provides input to 3-1-1 Action Center requests.

University Title: Senior Engineering Technician

6 years’ experience in construction observation, inspection, and testing

ACI Grade 1, ATTI Level 1 and Nuclear Gauge certifications preferred

Laboratory Certification (ACI/ATTI) is a plus

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Basic knowledge in the operation of smartphones and computers for communication and recording time worked.

Valid Driver's License and ability to authorize our review of a motor vehicle driving record for the past 7 years.

Ability to work with limited supervision.

Ability to work use hand tools and testing apparatuses.

Ability to pass drug screening.

Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt materials

ACI Field Grade I Certification

Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification

Effective oral and written communication skills

NICET, DOT, and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the role
