Come join Intuit’s People and Places team as a Senior Employee Relations Business Partner! The purpose of Intuit’s Employee Relations team is to foster an environment where employees feel connected and can learn and grow. The role will report into the leader of our Employee Relations team and be part of our People & Places organization. The role has a U.S. case focus but may support other countries. All program and project work must look across all Intuit’s countries, not just the U.S.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of Employee Relations or equivalent experience
  • Data-driven mindset, including experience designing core metrics to diagnose and improve organizational health and manager capability.
  • Ability to build human connections easily and deep emotional intelligence and objective empathy.
  • International employee relations experience preferred.
  • Adaptive critical thinking and judgment, especially in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, especially in complex and nuanced situations.
  • Extreme ownership of execution and operational excellence, including protocols, use of technology and disruption/innovation to help scale.
  • M.A. or J.D. or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact and communicate verbally and in writing effectively with executives, senior leaders, members of management, and employees at all levels of the company.
  • The ability to see situations from all perspectives and work through conflicts and complex performance concerns for the best possible outcomes for everyone involved.
  • Employee back experience thinking for design of employee help and support.
  • Learning and growth mindset, including understanding trends and continuously seeking to improve yourself and the experience for employees.

How you will lead

  • Manage a caseload of workplace conflicts and employee escalations, working both autonomously and with others, including other members of the Ethics & Investigations team, Intuit’s HR Connect team, HR Business Partners, HR Legal and managers and employees.
  • Work company-level and team priorities and projects, often in collaboration with Intuit’s People & Places Centers of Excellence, finance, payroll, legal and workforce technology teams.
  • Builds capability for managers and People & Places teams in new and emerging areas.
  • Execute on strategic changes for the company, support our workforce with complex performance concerns and workplace conflicts and assess and address org health and engagement issues.
  • Help design the company’s approach to external trends and development (for example, how we approach COVID-19 return to workplace or racial equity conversations)
