What To Expect
As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our Americas Region team. The Senior Director, Operational Excellence, Americas is a key position, reporting to the Vice President, Americas Operations. This position will be located in our downtown Denver office or a Gates' US manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
  • Continuous Improvement - Develop and deploy Continuous Improvement (Lean) Culture, Tool Set and Structure to deliver annual productivity savings.
  • Fix Sites - Create strike team that can be deployed to fix and troubleshoot underperforming sites.
  • OPEX - Champion Operational Excellence for multiple sites across the Americas region.
  • New Products - Work closely with design teams to industrialize new products ensuring on time, on budget, to run rate production metrics.
  • GPS - Drive GPS standard work, tools, processes, and systems across all sites achieving Gates benchmark performance.
About You
  • Strong leader demonstrating accountability, drive for results, bias for action, customer focus, tenacity, and dedication.
  • Excellent strategic agility, analytical, problem-solving skills with ability to work seamlessly between strategic and tactical.
  • Proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to quickly adapt and work collaboratively at all levels of the organization to influence outcomes.
  • Comfortable Rolling Up Sleeves (Hands-On), working with complicated, disparate data sets and business systems.
  • Experience industrializing new products and processes.
  • Competence in developing and implementing large footprint projects including plant expansions, consolidations, and product line transfers.
  • 15+ years of operations experience with deep knowledge and proven track record deploying lean & six sigma tools across a large multi-site organization, building continuous improvement culture, and delivering 5% Net YoY Productivity.
  • Strong executive presence, business acumen and intellectual curiosity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Industrial Engineering
Pay & Benefits
  • Relocation is provided
  • Full-Time: $190,000 - $220,000
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire
  • 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match
  • Eligible for unlimited paid vacation and sick days + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating)
