Job Description
Scope of leadership role


The Industrial Components Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Segment is seeking a business and manufacturing professional to drive the implementation of the Regal Rexnord Business System and Continuous Improvement throughout the Industrial Components Division. The Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) is a holistic approach to increase profitable growth through customer focus and optimal efficiency in our operations. RBS relies heavily on continuous improvement tools to transform our businesses and meet strategic and financial objectives.


This position is focused on the deployment of the Regal Rexnord Business System across the Industrial Components Division to drive both short and long-term strategic goals, and will partner closely with the Industrial Components VP/GM and the Industrial Components Operations Director. The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year over year performance improvement. As a key member of the Industrial Components Division Leadership Team, this role will impact results and culture by establishing standards, institutionalizing management systems and ensuring effective problem solving skills (& tool capability) across the organization.


Key Responsibilities


Continuous Improvement & Effective Problem Solving


  • Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives through effective application of the Regal Rexnord Business System tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Lead and drive Policy Deployment and CI Roadmaps for the Division. Skilled and experienced in decomposing a strategic vision into actionable strategies and tactics.
  • Ability to lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously though both a hands-on and influential approach.
  • Coach, mentor, and train Regal Rexnord teammates on continuous improvement methods based on Subject Matter Expertise. Ability to both formally train and "stop and teach" while at Gemba.


P&L Leadership Business Partner


  • Ability to work as a member of the leadership team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business. Garner followership across the organization to progress the transformation to achieve the future state.


Talent Management


  • Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to leverage RBS Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies to support their professional advancement and improve the business's operational performance.


Professional Experience/Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:


  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizen-type events to produce measurable improvements (financial, service, quality, etc.)
  • 8-10 years relevant work experience across Continuous Improvement, Operations and General Management Positions (multi-site management preferred)
  • Critical thinking skills to properly identify problem area & potential solutions
  • Policy Deployment and strategic planning experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA)
  • Analytical skills to properly interpret data
  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban/Replenishment systems, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving
  • Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross functional teams for Continuous Improvement journey
  • Financial and Operational solid experience to support demand/supply pipeline
  • Flexibility for traveling 50%+ of the time
