Job Description
The Role: Senior Director, Corporate Functions FP&A
The Grade/Level: (relevant for internal applicants only) 14
The Location: Virtual PA, CO, FL, TX, GA, MD, DE, NC, OH, AL, ND, KS, OK, IA, UT, ID, IN
Responsibilities
  • Transform Corporate Functions FP&A to meet modern best-in-class practices.
  • Define and lead the automation agenda implementing critical tools such as Alteryx to optimize processes.
  • Work closely with the FP&A Systems Experience Team and Business Services to drive efficiencies.
Financial Management
  • Be the central contact for Consolidated Functional Reporting ensuring accuracy and providing transparency to Executive Management on actions taken.
  • Act as the Finance Business Partner (FBP) for one or more functions by providing oversight to the team that leads the close, budgeting, and estimation processes, as well as providing insights and decision support for functional leadership related to plans
  • Act as the lead for FP&A for M&A activities impacting Corporate Functions
Program Management
  • Be the lead for select high-profile and critical projects (including productivity improvements, benchmarking, and allocation strategy) and track project progress/status.
Communication/Presentation Materials
  • Support the VP of Corporate Functions FP&A working with the Functional Leadership to develop presentations for Quarterly Financial Reviews (QFR) and other ad-hoc topics.
Team Development
  • Manage and continue to upskill capabilities of team with clear training plans and career paths.
What We’re Looking For
  • Comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative analysis; ability to leverage and organize data to support decisions.
  • Ability to flex beyond BAU projects and lead key strategic projects.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/activities at a given time.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, ability to work under tight and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Must be able to collaborate with peers as part of a cross-functional leadership team and as a partner to key stakeholders with the ability to navigate the complexities of a global matrix organization.
  • Solution-oriented, strategic thinker; balances understanding of enterprise business needs with functional specific needs.
Experience With
  • Financial Planning & Analysis and complementary toolsets (Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Workday, Ariba, Apptio, Alteryx, etc.).
  • Leading, supervising and mentoring a team.
  • M&A financial analysis.
  • Executive preparation and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Presenting in executive-level management meetings.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,100 to $258,600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
