• This team is focused on technical excellence and staying true to best practices and are encouraged to question and improve current processes
• This team works with modern industry leading technology, with plenty of bandwidth to develop new skills
• This individual will be a technology leader not only to on this team but within the organization as a whole

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Proven commitment to working in a senior engineer role, including mentoring and design guidance
• 4+ years of working closely with Kubernetes
• 8+ years of progressive work experience in a DevOps related position
• 2+ years in technical leadership within an enterprise
• Working experience with source code version control (preferably Git and GitHub)
• Terraform or other IaC experience
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals and networking topics
• Experience with cloud computing in a major public cloud

• Experience working in a multi-cloud environment
• Experience operating databases at large scale
• Experience introducing new tools/technologies to existing workflows
• Experience writing/understanding source code written in JavaScript, Kotlin or Go

• Expected to be aware of new technology on the market and potentially leverage it improve our work
• Writing and working with Terraform
• Giving advice and guidance to the rest of the engineering organization and keeping up to date on latest technology and best practices
• Provide technological leadership and be a go-to expert in one or more areas of the codebase/tech stack
• Responsible for facilitating discussing and providing level of effort for team projects
• Able to deal with open-ended problems and able to tolerate ambiguity by asking questions and driving requirements
• Architecting and supporting clouds environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Collaborating across teams and other technology/business leaders
• Troubleshoot various topics (networking, cloud technologies, containers) and acting as the final escalation point for related technology issues
• Administering Kubernetes clusters
• Helping improve processes for the team and the engineering organization as a whole
• Able to own a capability from technical design through completion
