Job Description
Summary


Senior Consultants in the Strategic Program Transformation area are responsible for managing small to mid-size projects and portions of larger projects addressing sensitive, confidential System initiatives with broad impact on Market Solutions, BCBSA and Blue Plans. They are responsible for managing and resolving complex inquiries, applying analytical rigor (e.g., data collection and analysis) and executing primary and secondary research including BCBS Plan input. The synthesis and integration of analytical and research work into final deliverables based on audience is required. They will also execute the communications planning, logistics and facilitation of virtual, in-person and hybrid events as needed


Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To


  • Administration and maintenance of communication-related applications including, but not limited to MS Teams, PlanConnexion and BlueWeb.
  • Conduct and/or drive business analytics, and related communications development, maintenance, and distribution (including Governance support, KPI reporting and workgroup monitoring).
  • Receive, manage and resolve complex, and sometimes sensitive inquiries, including cross-functional support of Second Blue Bid requests.
  • Manage small to mid-size projects and portions of larger projects related to program transformations.
  • Meeting/Event planning, logistics and facilitation (for both internal and external audiences).


Required Education, Certifications And Experience


  • Strong project lead skills and demonstrated experience in preparing work plans leading small to mid-sized projects and portions of larger projects.
  • Minimum of 4 years related business experience.
  • Demonstrates bias to action.
  • Competency to generate actionable insights from analytical work.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong relationship building and influence skills.
  • Experience with business/product strategy development and application of analytical methods.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to lead hypothesis development, integration and addressing customer and operational issues.
  • Familiarity with health insurance industry and concepts highly desirable
  • Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to create presentations and other communications for diverse audiences including internal staff, Plan staff, members and external executives.
  • Experience working collaboratively with highly matrixed teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong virtual, in-person and hybrid facilitation skills.
