The Global Technology & Operations group (GTO) is a diverse team of engineers, developers, business analysts, claims analysts and project managers with the freedom to create innovative and solutions to address core business challenges with MetLife. This role will be responsible for providing exemplary customer service by processing Absence Management insurance claims in a timely and accurate fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Starts to develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Identifies and obtains required evaluation data. Respond to written/telephone inquiries.
• Assists others with case management.
• Performs preliminary reviews of claim forms and submissions for accuracy and submits bills.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

• High school diploma
• 1+ yrs. related experience.

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of FMLA/Disability/Leave procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail.
• Claims, specifically disability, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong customer satisfaction focus.
• Knowledge of system applications preferred
