THE ROLE


The Sr. Brand Manager directly supports the General Manager to execute a plan that achieves the P&L, working capital performance, and operating KPI targets of each (or several) brands. The high-performing individuals in this role are familiar with the intricacies of data, translate date into actionable insights, can articulate the key elements of strategy (for each brand), and both create and execute tactics as needed to drive towards clearly set outcomes. The competencies required include but are not limited to driving cross-functional teams to on-time, high-quality completion of multiple projects, planning and delivering the monthly results, and leading weekly/monthly/quarterly client meetings. Bringing along key stakeholders within the organization, client base, product vendors and third-party partners is fundamental to executing a robust digital strategy. Ideal candidates will be highly analytical, able to prioritize dynamically and strategically with respect to using data to convey relevant dynamics and create compelling recommendations to drive client engagement and set clear expectations for all parties. This role serves as both strategic and tactical, and the right candidate must be comfortable and enjoy being in the detail to drive outcomes.


What You’ll Do
  • Works closely with the Digital Director, Digital Marketing Manager, eCommerce Coordinator, Logistics Team, Customer Service Team, Dev Team, Creative Team, and Content & Catalog teams
  • Driving homepage and navigation updates to align with current product mix and brand messaging
  • Client communication:
  • Monitor checkout flow ensuring a seamless experience for shoppers
  • Working capital performance, including replenishment, lost sales analysis, slow-moving items, and collaborative forecasting
  • Perform varying degrees of activity to drive outcomes in areas such as:
  • Define and execute merchandising strategies aligned with brand guidelines and revenue targets
  • Perform YTD, YoY, vs. 2PY, etc. analysis on both on and off-promo periods and leverage our tools to identify opportunities to enhance margin (dollar) generation
  • Own campaign and promotional calendar, adjusting as needed to accommodate product launches, supply chain and market conditions
  • Analysis of key site elements to drive KPIs (Average Order Value, Conversion Rate, Customer Lifetime Value, Customer Acquisition Cost)
  • Execute strategies to hit KPIs and grow eCommerce traffic:
  • Key point person on day-to-day execution
  • Leads and manages Brand Manager(s) and eCommerce Analyst(s) as required to drive results, provide mentorship and growth opportunities, and accelerate the development of a framework-driven approach to achieving successful outcomes
  • Analyze product performance, and sell-through velocity to plan to inform product replenishment, and leverage analytical tools within our platform to drive personalization
  • Lead client meetings (weekly, biweekly, monthly), prepare meeting decks

What You Need To Succeed


  • A passion for data, issue resolution, and optimization of all aspects of a business
  • We are flexible in terms of location however we have a preference for East Coast time zone-based candidates. Further, we have an office in NYC and also have a preference for individuals who enjoy in-person learning and mentorship, both during their first six months and beyond
  • You inspire confidence through the quality of your execution and have an obsession with follow-up and closure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or similar field(s)
  • A clear track record of professional and academic excellence
  • 2-3 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting role (MBB), or investment banking firm in a role that has had both analytical and strategic elements.
  • System knowledge in an e-commerce platform, Google Analytics, etc. a plus, but not required pending overall aptitude and ability determination
  • Familiarity with data structures, data analysis, and advanced data modeling if/as required is essential
  • Ability to create compelling materials for clients on both an ad-hoc and regular basis
  • Light coding ability would be a plus, but not necessary
