Senior Auditor, It Sox Compliance

• Evaluate and test IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls, and access controls to assess their effectiveness and identify potential risks.
• Conduct IT audits, including planning, scoping, and executing audit procedures in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Assist in providing recommendations and guidance on control enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
• Assist in developing and implementing remediation plans for identified control deficiencies.
• To enhance audit effectiveness, stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings, recommendations, and action plans to management.
• Review IT processes and systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Work closely with external auditors during the audit process, providing requested documentation and addressing findings or recommendations.
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to identify control gaps and recommend improvements.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong understanding of IT processes, systems, and controls
• AWS and SAP environment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as COBIT, COSO, and ISO 27001
• 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate internal audit function
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of data security and privacy principles
• CISA, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are preferred
• Knowledge of application controls, IT general controls, and access controls
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Experience conducting IT audits, including evaluating controls, testing, and documenting audit procedures and findings

• Travel requirements are minimal, primarily focused on occasional visits to other company locations or external audit-related activities.
• The SOX Compliance team is located out of Palo Alto, Detroit, and Irvine, with a few remote individuals; candidates should be within a reasonable commute to one of these three locations.
