Senior Application Security Engineer

Application Security Engineer – Dallas - $130,000 - $160,000

I'm working with an award-winning software development company who are hiring another passionate Application Security Engineer to join their valued Security Engineering team.

In this role, you will be completely hands-on and collaborate with Engineering teams to secure the design, implementation and coding of applications. You will further mature their Application Security program and have the autonomy to implement your ideas as you best see fit.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• 3+ years' experience working as an Application Security Engineer/Software Developer.
• Relevant security certifications are desirable, however not compulsory: OSWE, GWAPT etc.
• Collaborating with Engineering teams in design reviews and to resolve security vulnerabilities
• Experience doing SAST/DAST and threat modeling in an Agile SDLC.
• Experience doing manual code reviews on popular web platforms.

You will be given an uncapped training budget and allocated research time to dedicate to your personal Application Security projects. You will be also given a 40-hour capped working week because the company really cares about your work-life balance and wants you to have time to do the things you love outside of work!
