Community Pass Operations is a team of problem solvers and strategic thinkers who are passionate about the power of digital transformation in rural and underserved communities. We love enabling and partnering with the end-to-end business to build, sell, and implement digital tools and innovate new business models that enable access to critical services for the 1+ billion underserved consumers – provisioning healthcare, distributing humanitarian aid, enabling farmers to access markets and financial services, and more.

This role offers a unique development opportunity to gain insight of the Community Pass business end to end. The Senior Analyst, Operations, Community Pass will own key commercial processes that contribute to the overall performance of the team. This role will be responsible for Marketing and Communications for Community Pass, developing media coverage, marketing materials and thought-leadership pieces in partnership with the global and regional integrated Marketing & Communications teams, as well as managing the Community Pass presence at key events. In addition, the Senior Analyst will contribute to the development of the Voice of the Customer tools to understand the needs of our customers and users, as well as help manage the team’s budget and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and problem-solving skills with experience building P&Ls and business case modeling. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role helps to advance the commercial effectiveness of Community Pass.

Role

• Cross-domain commercial support to Product, Sales and Markets where needed.
• Manage marketing communications strategy development and execution, including social media, print media, award recognition, narrative development, video creation, events, and similar workstreams to build internal and external presence and achieve Community Pass goals in our target markets in Africa and India.
• Competitive analyses of platform services providers in agriculture, finance and identity in Africa and India.
• Provide financial analysis of monthly P&Ls; develop business case models for Product, Sales and Markets teams.
• Facilitate data collection and analysis and reporting and communications of programmatic results and organizational activities as required.
• Support the Director of Operations in Voice of the Customer, creating a feedback loop from customers and consumers back to CP teams to assure alignment with the needs of the market.

• Solid understanding of Mastercard’s operational and organizational infrastructure is advantageous.
• Ability to develop business cases, analyzing business scenarios for Community Pass teams and our customers.
• Ability to navigate complex internal procedures proactively and with proficiency.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills and presentation skills.
• Strong excel skills, ability to maintain and update spreadsheets and provide analysis of results.
• Strong commercial acumen, especially in an early-stage business environment.
• Demonstrated operational management and execution skills with strong ability to manage multiple deliverables on a time-sensitive basis.
• Ability to see things through the eyes of the customer and the end user and contribute to the development of mechanisms to capture sentiment.
• Bachelors degree.
