This position will collaborate closely with Cybersecurity and Information Technology staff, along with other members of the larger organization to assess and mature current business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) readiness. This position will also lead or contribute to the planning and advancement of RTD’s functional disaster recovery capabilities.


Essential


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Build a proactive cyber resilient framework that integrates backup solutions with governance and procedures to ensure recovery capabilities.
  • Organize BC/DR tabletop exercises and functional tests of recovery capabilities to meet RPO and RTO goals.
  • Integrate cybersecurity and technology BC/DR with RTD’s broader Emergency Management program and stakeholders.
  • Work with business unit leaders, IT, and other SMEs as appropriate to develop remediation plans for BC/DR capability gaps.
  • Assess the ability of the business units to meet BC/DR requirements and identify and document deficiencies.
  • Develop, enhance, and/or maintain documentation of business impact assessments, disaster recovery and business continuity plans for RTD technology and business services.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant or related Information Technology, Information Assurance, Business Administration, or Computer Science field of study.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in operating or administering Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Backup and Recovery tools and technologies.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery programs


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Ability to use sound judgment.
  • Experience with GRC tools such as ServiceNow, Archer, or similar.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Experience working with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Proficient with diagramming and workflow documentation tools such as Visio.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and business collaboration tools.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
