Job Description
Overview:
The purpose of DC Security is to maintain the security of Rural King Assets and ensure the facility is running in a safe and secure manner
Responsibilities:
  • Help ensure a safe and secure exterior ground through daily observation
  • Walk DC facilities multiple times per day
  • Facilitate security checks of incoming and outgoing DC personnel
  • Review video footage of significant events and providing details to management, human resources, and/or law enforcement
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties
  • Watch CCTV camera systems for occurrences of theft, productivity issues and security policy violations
  • Ensure security of all trailers on RK property
  • Ensure proper controls are in place in regard to doors and any other areas of traffic
Qualifications:
  • Good visual acuity

  • QUALIFICATIONS


    • Be proficient with Windows based computers
    • Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
    • Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
    • Ability to complete computer-based training

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Good visual acuity
    • Close vision for computer work
    • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
    • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
    • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
    Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in-person or via handheld transceiver)
