Responsibilities:

• Provide security presence at special events, including private screenings, parties, etc.
• Write comprehensive reports to assist Investigations Department
• Monitor security equipment and report problems
• Patrol Company property, identifying and reporting safety and security hazards
• Greet, screen, and direct all visitors to company property following established procedures.
• Assist in the placement and removal of barricades and posts and the opening and closing of gates for the direction of pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
• Respond to medical, fire, security, and other safety related emergencies as trained
• Act as guest hosts, answering routine questions from visitors and employees, where appropriate.
• Secure and/or unsecured properties as directed
• Enforce Company security and parking policies consistently and fairly

• Handle other special assignments as required

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Company Performance record clear of any performance issues for the past 6 months
• Superior writing ability and command of basic English grammar
• Clear teamwork focus but also able to work independently when required
• Must possess valid California BSIS issued Guard Card and California Driver’s License
• Ability to operate company transportation, including electric vehicles and bicycles
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to work flexible work schedule
• Physical ability to perform all responsibilities as listed above.
• Ability to work in a team based environment with minimal supervision
• Creative thinker and highly adaptable
• Basic familiarity with computers, including MS Outlook e-mail and MS Word
• Demonstrate excellent decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work varying schedule (hours and days off), especially overtime
• Must have valid certificates for CPR, First Aid, and AED.

The hiring range for this Union position in California is $21.5265 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
