Job Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Operations Analyst to help the Information Technology Team take our current cyber security program to the next level. You will work closely with various teams within the IT group to ensure we are remaining proactive and ensuring our software and systems are designed and implemented following best security practices. You will also be responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness of our terminal by mitigating risk all while increasing our security posture and protecting a part of the nation’s critical infrastructure.

How You Will Make An Impact

• The primary purpose of this position is to provide the maintenance, upkeep and provide front line support of our info-security program.
• Administers, monitors and troubleshoots Cloud and On-prem security gateway issues.
• Support communications of potential security incidents via multiple channels.
• Assist with the resolution of security-related infrastructure.
• Perform security alert detection and analysis capabilities across multiple technologies to ensure that security incidents are identified in a timely manner.
• Participate in the response to potential security incidents by identifying and communicating relevant supplementary information.
• Participate in security incident response.
• Escalate and support potential security incidents in line with appropriate processes.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Experience protecting secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Experience in a security administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CRISC, CISA , CIPP, CIPM and/or ITIL certification preferred
• Security subject matter knowledge and experience in InfoSec Governance, Risk and Compliance solutions and general security policy.
• Expert in working with threat prevention and intrusion detection systems.
• Ability to script and automate repetitious tasks.
• Well rounded host and network security expertise.

Compensation

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $101,920 - $120,240/Yr. and is an Exempt role.

Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
