Job Description

Now is your chance to amplify your impact, working to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. We are hiring immediately for a Security Officer for the Pasadena office.
  • Update access control system as needed
  • Adjunct duties as required
  • Monitor security phone line
  • Track activity onsite using the current security system
  • Conduct internal and external patrol checks of the Maxar facility
  • Verify and store security documentation
  • Coordinate building and safety issues for Maxar Space Robotics within the facility
  • Pass down critical information to rotating guard
  • Grant visitor/vendor access in compliant to security requirements
  • Redirect phone calls to the appropriate department and take down messages
  • Respond to any monitoring alarms onsite
Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Superb communication skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
  • Citizenship: Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Lifting of less than 25 lbs.
  • Eligibility Requirements: Must be a US Person under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) to be eligible Work Environment: Aerospace Facility / Office Environment

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$18.98 - $31.63 hourly.
