Security Engineer Iii Jobs

About the Position:

Our client, a prominent organization in the information technology and computer & network security industry, is seeking a Security Engineer III to join their team. This is a fully remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and exciting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of information and network security systems and technology services, as well as providing technical support to business and technology associates in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate information security procedures, standards, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a support & operations or design & engineering role in any of the following areas: access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, network communications, application security, cyber security, or equivalent education and experience
• Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) strongly preferred
• BA/BS degree in Information Technology

Requirements:

• Good understanding of security protocols for web interfaces
• Coordination with cross-functional teams on remediating application security findings from pen tests, Qualys, Prisma, etc.
• Experience working on application security vulnerabilities remediation for .NET & Java stack
• Experience providing top-tier support for Application Security and 2 or more of the information security technology areas
• Knowledge of using app security scan tools and understanding of remediation steps
• Experience adhering to secure coding principles and aiding in coding/testing applications against security risks/parameters before release
• Good experience and understanding of security best practices in every step of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience using static scan tools and dynamic scan tools like Checkmarx, Prisma, or Qualys
