Seasonal Night Cleaner-Radio City

The Night Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Radio City Music Hall.

What will you do?

• Buff and wax floors to maintain overall cleanliness and appearance of the theatre.
• Night Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining Radio City Music Hall interior and exterior (i.e Theatre, Lobby, Dressing Rooms).
• Vacuum, remove gum, and shampoo carpets in theatre.
• Assist in special projects as assigned by Supervisor or Manager of Building Operations.
• Remove all trash from seating areas, by picking, blowing, and vacuuming.
• Will sanitize, clean, and stock restroom facilities after shows. This includes: toilets, urinals, walls, floors, mirrors, and receptacles.
• Sweep, mop, and remove trash from facility, offices, and backstage areas.

What do you need to succeed?

• The ideal candidate must possess maintenance/custodial experience in a building, arena, or outdoors environment.
• Will be able to work in a team environment as well as independently in order to complete assignments.
• Must be available at least five (5) days of the week, of which a minimum of two (2) days must be between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This availability must be maintained during the entire Radio City Christmas Spectacular season.
• Able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
• Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
• Will be motivated and deadline oriented with the ability to work independently to meet show schedule and load in/load out process.
• Must be receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
• Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Must have experience and be able to use and maintain vacuums, blowers, and other cleaning equipment.
