Job Description

1. Coordination with faculty, staff and trainees within the department for training of individuals
on key departmental equipment..
2. Coordination with faculty, staff and trainees for technical performance of assays as needed
using departmental equipment as directed.
3. Performing the preventative maintenance/calibrations needed for shared departmental equipment.
4. Administrative duties to be performed as needed: supply ordering/organization, creation and
maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOP) and associated environmental health and safety
(EHS), creation, submission, renewal and modifications. Ensure compliance with federal regulations
within the laboratory.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$60,500-$69,000 annually



Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and five years of experience working in a research or clinical laboratory. Two years of experience dealing with regulatory entities listed. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel. Experience with microscopy and/or flow cytometry. Appropriate college course work or vocational/ technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.



Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microbiology and immunology in a research setting.
