School Teacher Assistant - Immediate Start

Are you wanting experience in an early childhood center?

We are looking for short-term, long term part-time, and full-time Teaching Assistants to work with early years education, preschools, and daycares.

Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children’s educational journey and their communities. Teaching Assistants will support licensed teachers in the classroom and gain invaluable experience.

Key Duties:

• Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Assisting the classroom teacher
• Assist in compiling classroom communications
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Pediatric First aid & CPR certification
• 1-year experience working with children
• High School Degree or GED

Preferred Requirements:

• ParaPro Certification or similar
• Past work experience in a school
• Associates Degree or higher
• Experience working with children with special educational needs

Additional Requirements:

• Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.

Pay:

• Weekly pay
• Teacher Assistant’s pay will reflect qualifications and experience level.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No weekends
