Scheduler - Full-Time 1St Shift

MUST be an STNA May be asked to assist in direct care as needed Position Summary: Maintains nursing department schedules and in-servicing while tracking budgeted hours. Essential Functions:

• Customer service, administrative and organizational skills required.
• Computer skills recommended.
• Maintains records of nursing department in-servicing
• Communicates effectively with residents, staff and visitors Assists in payroll processing
• Must maintain confidentiality of all employee information
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain attendance records for nursing department and initiate appropriate disciplinary process related to attendance issues
• Because Brookhaven exists to care for our residents, regular attendance and punctuality are essential to provide quality care
• Must follow Brookhaven Policy and Procedures
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language Position Responsibilities:
• Assist in ordering medical supplies and maintain proper inventories for resident use
• Monitor nursing department hours daily
• Leadership: Ability to take actions and achieve results through others
• Must be in good physical condition as the position requires the ability to stand on one’s feet throughout the day, as well as, push, pull, move and/or lift frequently a minimum of 10 pounds and up to greater than 50 pounds occasionally
• Experience with scheduling for a nursing department required.

• Plans in-service education as directed by DON and LNHA
