Overview

North America’s largest wine and spirits distributor, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, is seeking a talented Salesforce UX Designer to join our growing Digital Transformation team. Reporting to the Director, User Experience, this individual will be responsible for optimizing flows, interactions, and visual interfaces for intuitive, user-centered design across both our internal and external SFDC-hosted experiences.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the user experience of our Proof® Sales & Service mobile and web applications, utilized by more than 7,000 users, including Sales Consultants, Overlays, and Customer Advocacy Agents, and will occasionally collaborate with our eCommerce team on the industry-leading Proof® eCommerce platform leveraged by over 100,000 businesses across the US, which offers a variety of self-service features hosted on Salesforce Community pages.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to ensure that user needs are met, and design standards are maintained
• Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications for web and mobile interfaces
• Support usability testing activities and leverage feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs
• Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to product teams, cross-functional partners, and leadership
• Work with developers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and according to design specifications
• Develop user journeys, user flows and wireframes to guide the design process
• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
• Employ customer-centric design thinking to shape the future state of both our internal and external digital products
• Partner closely with UX Researchers to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and with Product Owners to define design requirements
• Ensure that designs are responsive, accessible, and meet the latest design trends and best practices
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UX design
• Audit Proof Sales® mobile and web applications to identify opportunities for improving the flow, consistency, and overall user experience

Additional Primary Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Highly collaborative spirit with a passion for achieving best-in-class, user-centered user experience design
• Experience designing within the Salesforce Lightning framework
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field
• Battle-tested interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• 3+ years of experience in UX design
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methods, and usability testing
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or InVision
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and design process
• Exceptional written and verbal communication including executive-level presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Scaled Agile delivery and support models
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Target and any other 3rd party testing platforms, such as, Optimize, Maximiser or Optimizely
• Experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Domestic air travel infrequently required.
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
