Sales Showroom Assistant - Italian Or French Speaking

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, developing relationships with customers, follow sale process from leads to shipping and aftercare and actively generate new leads and sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies, excellent communication skills, highly organized and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Assist customers in finding the right product for their needs.
• Proactive outlook to achieve monthly and yearly sales goals
• Answer customer questions and provide product and shipping information, in person, via phone or by email.
• Proactive reach out via phone and email to clients to generate new sales leads or upselling.
• Liaise between the managing director, logistics, and marketing team on transport, special projects, events
• Ability to track and follow through customer inquiries from lead to sale completion.
• Create invoices and proposals, process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions and documents.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner in person, via email or over the phone
• Keep client CRM accurate and up to date.

Job Requirements & Skills:

• 3 years experience in sales in a retail environment in design or fashion industry including lead generation, customer relations and sales follow-through, shipping and data management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in sales to transmit professionalism and to keep clients engaged.
• Flexibility in receiving new instruction and adapting to new priorities or tasks as needed
• Ability to excel and manage a high-stress, time-sensitive industry with demanding clientele
• College degree preferred, preferably in a creative field, business, marketing, or communications
• Confident and persevering to proactively engage with clients and to pursue answers.
• Computer skills & Proficiency in technology with a working knowledge of Mac Suite, google sheets (or equivalent), and Chrome. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and programs.
• Italian or French proficient. Must be able to liaise with vendors and shippers.
• Polished professional in appearance and demeanor
