Schedule: Monday-Friday


Our Sales Representatives are the face of the rapidly growing team at Downeast Cider, the #1 hard cider in the Northeast and #2 hard cider in the country. Your mission will be to increase the sales and visibility of Downeast Cider with both our on-premise and off-premise retail partners in the MD/DC area. You’ll be spreading the good unfiltered word about our innovative portfolio of craft hard cider, vodka sodas, hard lemonades, and beyond.

What you’ll do:


Sell, sell, sell


  • Prospect for new business and close sales with new accounts
  • Grow brand presence and introduce new products within our existing accounts
  • Seek out merchandising and promotional opportunities at accounts
  • Conduct weekly demos at bar and retail accounts (can include training/managing a Brand Ambassador to run these)
  • Execute on monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Monitor product freshness to ensure quality standards are being upheld


Flex your people skills


  • Build relationships with key decision makers throughout your account base
  • Spend 80-90% of your time visiting new and existing accounts
  • Balance communications with many (10-40) wholesaler reps
  • Leverage wholesaler relationships/ride-alongs to increase sales and stay top of mind


Keep track of it all


  • Create and send weekly recaps of account work to wholesalers
  • Maintain accurate and timely records through VIP and Karma
  • Record account details in the CRM software
  • Input contact information and notes following every sales visit


Who you are:


  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Comfortable multitasking and pivoting effortlessly between various job functions throughout the day
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • 21 years of age or older to comply with federal and state regulations
  • Passionate about craft cider
  • Must reside in the same area as the covered territory


Bonus points if you have…


  • Comfortable using a CRM software
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Outside sales experience
  • Experience working in the alcohol / liquor / beer / wine industry
