The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for the leadership and development of the Sales and Marketing TEAMs. The successful candidate will drive the performance and growth of TEAM Companies with responsibilities for the marketing strategy and sales plan. The Sales and Marketing TEAM under the direction of the Director generates new revenue for TEAM Companies products and services. Our ideal Director has an in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation through marketing channels, relationship building and closing deals. The Sales and Marketing Director serves as a key member of the leadership TEAM, building effective relationships across the organization and developing strategic partnerships in the industry to offer consultative solutions to TEAM Companies customers during the Sales and Marketing process.

Requirements
  • Develop, implement and manage marketing strategy through well designed marketing plan and activity
  • Develop and maintain established brand standards on all internal and external communications and assets, representing TEAM in a polished and professional manner including marketing materials, social media channels, blogs and websites
  • Develop and manage marketing and sales budgets
  • Maintain accurate records and client contact information within CRM, to ensure senior management has accessibility to pipeline/forecasting data
  • Build and nurture prospective client relationships
  • Recruit, train, and motivate sales representatives including setting objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
  • Monitor, prepare and report on marketing communication and sales activity
  • Coordinate and liaison between sales/marketing and other departments for business and client success
  • Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data and projecting future performance
  • Ensure pricing for all opportunities is appropriate to volume and strategic importance to ensure we maintain business objectives
  • Continuously develop personal leadership, hiring and training skills while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results
  • Drive client-facing communications to promote our brand, service commitment and service guarantees
  • Research consumer needs and identify how TEAM solutions meet them
  • Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings, maintaining a consistent corporate image and ensuring that the brand is well communicated across all channels
  • Collaborate with TEAM members as needed on complex or specialized projects, creating cross-functional relationships

Required Qualifications and Skills
1. Experience:
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years in sales management within a corporate setting
  • Experience in Third Party Administrator, Background Screening industry preferred

2. Sales:
  • Experience with sales cycles longer than 6 months in length
  • Proven track record with the following: developing leads, building a qualified pipeline, building strategic relationships, and superior presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated experience gaining access to and creating credibility with Human Resources, Procurement, Security and C-suite clientele
  • Proven over-target attainment against established quotas in prior sales positions
3. Computer Skills:
  • CRM systems (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
  • High level knowledge of business-related computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat/PDFs)
4. Soft Skills Required:
  • Sales Ability – Ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of product, service or idea
  • Organized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
  • Self-Confident – The trait of being comfortable in making decisions for oneself

  • Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of the project or task
  • Time-Management: Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines with little oversight
  • Relational – Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including internal and external partners
  • Communication – Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely with others
  • Presentation Skills – Ability to effectively present information publicly
  • Relationship Building – Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers
5. Work Environment:
  • You must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with government, organization and department policies
  • Utilization of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, various software platforms, and other technology
  • Demonstrate reliability supporting TEAM attendance standards as attendance and punctuality are key to the success for all
  • Travel 50%
