Job Description
Shepard Exposition Services is seeking a Sales Manager, Exhibits to generate revenue for the organization through the sales of custom exhibits and direct purchase/custom rentals on trade show events nationwide.
Essential Job Duties
  • Build relationships with exhibits customers for future sales
  • Treat all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect, as outlined in our Blue Diamond Customer Service program
  • Solicit new and existing exhibits business from exhibitors on all Shepard shows
  • Attend sales meetings, pre-show events, and other company functions
  • Attend shows nationwide in which large clients are attending and service on-site needs
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with other systems department members
  • Effectively follow up on all sales leads and track results
  • Price and communicate pricing to customers in a prompt expedient manner
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Proficient in operating standard office equipment and software including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate Core Values of Caring, Commitment, Integrity, Spirit, Responsiveness, Inclusive, and Teamwork
  • Ability to perform as a responsible ESOP owner by making daily decisions to benefit the client and the company
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to travel nationwide as business dictates
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education
