Job Description
Alphia is searching for a Sales Coordinator role! The purpose of the sales coordinator position is to support the broader sales and commercial organization in the day to day tasks of delivering exceptional customer service. This position encompasses a body of work that will vary to meet the needs of the business.
Essential Job Duties:
Sales Support
  • Track new item performance vs. KPI’s
  • Assist Sales with customer driven new item forms and Wrike project management maintenance
  • Assist in managing execution/tracking of new item launches at retail to ensure speed to shelf and item success
  • Support completion of internal Monthly/Quarterly Business updates
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships to foster understanding of internal business workings
  • Support account managers in preparation for external meetings in the areas of sales performance, industry trends, and financial analysis
  • Score-carding Customer Business Results against KPI metrics
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, R&D, and Commercialization teams to ensure flawless execution of pricing, innovation, & production plans.
  • Assist Sales thru data tools to identify, analyze and communicate assortment, pack size, and formulation trends
  • Collaborate with Account Managers on information and data requirements around item or spec changes
Forecasting /Planning
  • Assist in management of customer forecast documents to adhere to internal formatting requirement
  • Complete ad hoc data requests within Power BI to support Sales in efforts around forecasting and projections.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 or more years of business experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel 3-4 times per year is required
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys and is proficient at detailed analysis
  • Self-motivated and has ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse tasks
  • Intermediate computer skills are a must (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the Alphia organization
