The Salad Makers at Tender Greens are responsible for preparing delicious food for our guests.
Major Responsibilities Include

• Carrying equipment, food supplies, and utensils to and from work and storage areas
• Become familiar with new menu items/dishes
• Ensure that guests orders are properly portioned and ready to be served
• If supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly, ensuring that supervisors have been informed
• Ensuring that all dishes are properly prepared, seasoned and attractively presented
• Preparing, washing , peeling, and/or cutting various food to be cooked or served
• Ensuring that all equipment, utensils, work areas, dishes are clean
• Ensure that foods are properly stored in containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage
• Follow all sanitation guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
• Must have a Food Service Sanitation Certificate
• Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
• Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
