The Role

Reporting into the Director of Production, the Content Maker will be a creatively focused production resource. The Maker's primary focus will be working on all scale projects from conception through production execution and delivery. The role will focus on applying creative interdisciplinary maker skills across all projects.

Responsibilities:

• Employ additional Maker skills from a variety of creative disciplines (such as animation, camera operation, music, design, copywriting and/or directing)
• Build custom reels and case studies for presentations of work to executives or clients
• Collaborate closely with producers and creative teams through the production and post-production process
• Creating music searches and music edits
• Loading, organizing, and editing footage on small-scale shoots
• Provide ad-hoc support to Sr.Editor on large-scale projects
• Maintain overall awareness of the production team's activities and workflow status
• Translate feedback into actionable changes to ensure the finished product meets the clients' expectations
• Operating camera on small-scale shoots
• Shoot and edit projects
• Manage full editorial function for basic project
• Edit/Animate content

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Final Cut, After Effects, Photoshop, Resolve a plus
• Strong interpersonal and written communications skills
• Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management skills
• At least 4 years' experience as a Content Editor
• Proficiency in at least one other relevant creative skill set – animation, Director of photography, color
• Advanced knowledge of Premier required
• Strong knowledge of overall production process from concepting through delivery in the advertising industry
