Responsibilities – General Manager:

• Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained
• Issuing all demonstration RV's and ensuring that appropriate dealership records are maintained
• Auditing all appraisals of trade-in RV's
• Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used RV's and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly
• Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising both new and used RV's as well as reviewing and initialing all promotions before they are finalized
• Hiring and monitoring the performance of the department managers, holding weekly sales meetings, and conducting sales training

Qualifications – General Manager:

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication and managerial skills
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the RV industry or comparable experience is highly preferred
• Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
• Ability to work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Four-year degree is preferred
• Previous Management (GM, GSM, Sales Manager) experience in RV, Automotive, Powersport, Motorsport, Marine, or other related industry required
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to use a computer, MS Office, and other office equipment
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
