POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Runner/Stocker you will juggle multiple responsibilities both behind the scenes and on the front of house floor. Your accommodating personality and ability to balance needs of a diverse clientele will be a welcome supporting facilitating a dining operation that is fun, efficient, and polished without pretense.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Replenish and maintain proper levels of service ware, drink stations, ice and condiments at service stations throughout the venue.
  • Ability to move and/or consolidate product from one vessel to another (i.e. – large format bulk prepped product into smaller containers for service).
  • Ability to assist in restocking of product for venue (examples include but not limited to: soda machines, milk, ice, frozen dessert stations, fresh cut fruit, cereal, grab & go items)
  • Work cleanly and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with SNHD guidelines.
  • Wipe down and restock table condiments and service ware in venue as needed.
  • Collaborate, create and follow prep and par lists to ensure proper amounts of product are transferred.
  • Adhere to established grooming and appearance standards, including maintaining a clean and well-maintained uniform.
  • Effectively move and transport goods and products between multiple hotel locations with efficiency and in accordance with workplace ergonomics.
  • Maintain a true understanding of the food regulations with the ability to recite upon request.
  • Assist in the training of new employees as requested.
  • Wrap, label and date all food product in accordance with SNHD standards.
  • Ensure all receiving paperwork is neatly and accurately organized for management.
  • Properly receive and store goods and products using proper rotation and organization. Break down and dispose of boxes and packaging afterwards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Take inventory of products in designated storage areas and communicate with management accordingly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months experience in a high-volume restaurant establishment.

PREFERRED:

  • Previous busser/server assistant experience.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
