Job Description
Count Room Asst. Supervisor The Strat (Las Vegas, NV) Description:
General Summary
Assists the Count Team Supervisor with the day to day supervisory duties of the Count Room on the assigned shift. Performs slot machine drop, processes and verifies daily revenue drops. Delivers and wraps coin for cage use. Enter/Balance daily reports for Table Game and Slot revenue. Complies with departmental rules and regulations as outlined by Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Essential Functions
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible to fill and process coin for all telescope and change machines in Tower on weekly basis.
  • Export, post and print reports for slot currency in CDS program.
  • Performs slot machine validator can drop which includes open/close machines doors, transport cans to and from drop cart, and maneuvering carts across casino floor.
  • Export, post and print reports for daily Ticket In/Ticket Out vouchers in OASIS program.
  • Responsible to enter data, post and process revenue for Table Games drop in CMS program.
  • Record/ balance changes to vault inventory on daily basis.
  • Fills Redemption Kiosk with cash and coin on daily basis.
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of CDS, OASIS, CMS or equivalent computer programs, Nevada Gaming Control Board standards and regulations pertaining to count room process required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years minimum hard/soft count experience required
  • Minimum 21 years of age

Physical Requirements
  • Communicate using radios.
  • Regularly drive motor vehicle. (i.e. bronco and mule for validator cart.)
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move object weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly walk, stand, or stoop.
  • Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
  • Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
  • Need to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Vision, Literacy, Hearing, Speech
  • Occasionally sit at desk or table.
