We are currently offering a $5,000 sign on bonus for full time! The schedule for this role will be Friday, Saturday, Monday with an occasional Sunday shift.

It is time to take your career to the next level. As a Nurse at Optum, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients under the supervision of a clinician. You will delegate tasks as needed to professionals and para-professional teammates. As a nurse, you will coordinate activities and work closely with clinicians and teammates to maintain efficient department functions and ensures successful operation of the department. You will be responsible for performing operational duties as required under the supervision of the site administrator or designee.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary
• Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan
• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaints

Required Qualifications:

• BLS and ACLS certification. PALS certification required within 6 months of hire date
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license through the State of Colorado
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
• BSN
• Experience in an ambulatory care setting and/or specialty areas

Colorado Residents Only: The hourly range for Colorado residents is $37.07 to $44.08.
