As a Medical Assistant Lead you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our ambulatory medical center. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
This is a full-time position that will be regularly scheduled to work Monday - Friday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Medical Assistant starting wage range is $18.00 - $25.00/hr., DOE .
Medical Assistant Job Duties & Tasks

• Vital Signs
• Inoculations/immunizations
• Pulmonary Function Tests
• Billing: Prepare and submit charges for all procedures performed by the Medical Assistant (drug Screens, physicals, vaccines, etc.).
• EKG
• Assist with Physical Exams
• Venipuncture
• Breath Alcohol Testing/Drug Screens: Hold current certification in Breath Alcohol Testing and DOT urine drug screen testing (within 60 days of start)
• Inventories: Responsible for keeping accurate inventory of clinical supplies

Medical Assistant Work Hours
Clinic hours are approximately 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Hours are dependent on business and clinic needs.
Requirements

• Spanish bi-lingual preferred
• Current First Aid/ CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required
• High School Diploma or equivalent require
• 2 or more years of current full-time experience in a fast-paced medical office environment preferred
• Willing to travel to other clinics for coverage as needed
• Certification for Federal and Non-Federal Drug Testing and Breath Alcohol Testing required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
