Position Description: Pre-Op Surgical Registered Nurse
The Registered Nurse - Preop Surgical independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.

• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• Independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, Critical Care, Surgical Services or Emergency Service.
