Rn - Registered Nurse - Or - 13 Week Assignments

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team . BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including:

• System Pool- 13-week full time assignment for assigned department - unit provided schedule - block scheduling not available

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• The Registerd Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments

Requirements:

• ACLS is required
• 18 months RN experience in an acute OR setting is required
• Registered Nurse license
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Associates Degree in Nursing
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• BLS is required.
• 2 years RN experience in an acute OR setting is strongly preferred

Location: BayCare System Office West

Status: Pool, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:30am - 5:30pm

Shift: Shift 4

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes
